Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was one of the cast members of Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone had also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends her first appearance.
